Nestlé South Africa launched an innovative water-saving facility at its Mossel Bay plant, in the Western Cape, earlier this month. The investment enables the facility to use water recovered from the factory’s milk-evaporation process and could save 168-million litres of water a year. Nestlé undertook the investment based on the fact that Mossel Bay is a water-stressed region that has been affected by the recent drought.
